Burning the ISO Image in NERO and Roxio Easy CD Creator: NERO Insert a Blank DVD, open Nero StartSmart > change the media type to DVD > select Copy and Backup > click "Burn Image to Disc" > navigate to where the Windows Vista BETA 2 Image is stored on your hard disk, (note: if you don't see it, make sure the image file type is changed to ISO" click Open and the burning wizard will automatically start.
Roxio Open Creator Classic > click File > "Record Disc from Image" > navigate to where the Windows Vista BETA 2 Image is stored >click Open and the burning wizard will automatically start.
Ensure that the ISO burns at a low speed, recommended speed, 2x for best results. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

Have you tried to mount the downloaded image without burning it, using deamon tools or similiar (to see if it is your burned copy or the iso...)? And are you sure you have enabled autorun on your machine? And your BIOS tries to start first from cd and only then from hard disk?

You are not suppose to burn it as a Data DVD, its suppose to burnt as an Image to CD. Insert a Blank DVD, open Nero StartSmart > change the media type to DVD > select Copy and Backup > click "Burn Image to Disc" > navigate to where the Windows Vista BETA 2 Image is stored on your hard disk, (note: if you don't see it, make sure the image file type is changed to ISO" click Open and the burning wizard will automatically start. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

If the file on the DVD says ".iso" then you did not burn the image correctly. All you did was copy the downloaded file to the DVD, which, consequently, makes a nice looking coaster for any hot or cold beverage. When you burn correctly, you should see several folders on the DVD, but more importantly, a file called "Setup.exe".
